Now be honest how many of you have heard of USAID before last week?

USAID, or the United States Agency for International Development, was created through a series of legislative actions and executive decisions in the early 1960s. Here's how it came into existence:

  1. Cold War Context: The creation of USAID was heavily influenced by the geopolitical climate of the Cold War. The U.S. sought to counter the spread of communism by promoting economic development and democracy in developing countries. It took over work that was being done by the State Dept. DOD and the CIA to reduce redundant efforts.

  2. Legislation:

    • Foreign Assistance Act of 1961: This act was pivotal in establishing the framework for U.S. foreign aid. Signed into law by President John F. Kennedy on September 4, 1961, this legislation reorganized U.S. foreign assistance programs. It aimed to consolidate various foreign aid functions into a more coherent structure.

    • Creation of USAID: Within this act, USAID was formally established to administer economic, development, and humanitarian assistance programs. The act created a new agency, separate from the Department of State, to focus exclusively on development aid, allowing for more specialized and effective aid programs.

  3. Executive Orders and Reforms:

    • Executive Order 10973: On November 3, 1961, President Kennedy issued this executive order, officially setting up USAID under the Department of State but with a degree of autonomy to manage its operations.

    • Bureaucratic Reorganization: The new agency took over functions from several existing bodies, including the CIA, Dept of Defense and the International Cooperation Administration (ICA), which had been handling much of the economic aid previously.

  4. Philosophy and Goals:

    • Development Aid: USAID was intended to support long-term economic growth, agriculture, health, education, and political stability in developing nations, with an emphasis on fostering self-sustaining economic development.

    • Partnerships: It was designed to work in partnership with host countries, local organizations, and other international bodies to implement programs to further US foreign policy goals.

This is an excellent primer on USAID from Mike Benz.

The results of the Audit of USAID so far have been shocking. In that in appears to be almost the entire 50 billion dollar annual budget goes to leftist projects and causes.

these are a few examples.

Just a sample of the DEI spending

USAID funding was used to censor the internet funding the Centre for Information Resilience based out of London and run by Nina Janowicz.

Nina reacted poorly to the shutdown of USAID

Then there are the propagandists paid by USAID, for example Never-Trumper Bill Kristol

Politico witch received 8.2 million after pushing the false Hunter Biden laptop narrative.

The worst project funding discovered so far is the 53 million that was funneled through Eco Health alliance to the Wuhan Virology Lab. This included gain-of-function research funding that started in 2014 (matching Fauci's pardon) and went to Dr. Ben Hu who became COVID patient zero.

So how have the left and democrats reacted to this audit of USAID? With death threats and insane rants.

Death threats on Reddit,

Threats on X as well

Totally normal reactions from elected Democrats

NJ Rep LaMonica McIver (D) "We are at War!"
Rep Jamie Raskin (D)

After all that how is the audit going? This well The State Department has recalled all USAID personnel. As of Friday February 7, all 10,000 USAID personnel will be out of a job.
