Changing Oregon requires new leadership. How?
Like most things, the answer is fairly simple but requires work to achieve.
The steps
Elect well qualified candidates with the right temperament and skills. ( Conservative)
Currently elections are turn out contests. So increase turn out. How do you increase turn out?
Get people to commit to vote in the general election.
If you vote in the May primary election you are 98% likely to vote in the General election.
The key to voting in the Primary is being registered with a party, in this case the Republican Party.
Increase communication with the voters to register Republican.
Grow the Republican party by increasing voters registered Republican.
Remind them to vote in the Primary where their voice/vote carries the most weight
They then have "skin in the game" to vote in the general election.
This results in increased turnout during the general election.
Increased turnout is how we win elections.
The after winning elections use the political power to affect positive change for Oregon.
This is the same approach used by the Trump campaign that was encapsulated as "Too big to rig" As you know it worked.
Following this plan from 2022 until Nov 2024 the Marion County Republican party won over 90% of election contests, registered more than 2000 new Republicans in Marion County and increased Republican turnout 10% (the highest on record) during the Nov 2024 election.
The average Trump based increase for turnout in Oregon was 3.2% Marion County exceeded that by 3x.
There is currently only one organization in Oregon following this plan.
The Oregon Conservative Caucus is the only conservative organization in Oregon focused on winning elections. We are a true grassroots organization made up of local volunteers with experience in local, state and national politics. We are not here to support the whomever candidate. We are here to elect conservatives. As Regan said, bold colors not pale pastels.
If this sounds like you, you can join here
We have members in 29 of 36 Oregon counties and more being added everyday.
What else is going on at this crucial time in Oregon?
We are days away from ballots being sent out in Oregon and the Marion County Republican party has yet to hold its first Door knocking event. As a matter of fact it does not have any planned. The MCRP has outsourced its efforts to Marion-Polk First an out of state run PAC that is left of center. Go figure. The first event is planned for today Apr 29.
Two years ago, the MCRP had started knocking doors in early March and did not stop until election day. The current leadership did not participate in any of these events even though many of the same people were in leadership at the time.
The Oregon Republican Party (ORP) is doing even less. As I look around the state I see very little activity supporting local school board candidates. The debacle with the recently resigned Chair does not help. The ORP has had 5 different Chairs in the last four years. This level of chaos harms fundraising and messaging. It will be a least another cycle before the ORP has any traction.
The ORP is spending time supporting the End Vote By Mail petition. I fully support the intent and effort behind the petition. It is very much needed to advance the conservation on Vote by Mail. For full disclosure I have signed the petition.
However I believe it is a petition doomed to fail as it does not meet standards of the petition process. The EVBM petition attempts to changes six different issues when petitions are only allowed to address one issue at a time. See the ballot initiative constitutional review below.

How do I know this, I was Chief Petitioner on the Constitutional Carry petition. I spoke extensively with the SOS's office regarding petitions and was the author of the Constitutional Carry petition.
The ORP is attempting to leverage Scott Pressler again to raise the profile of certain people in the ORP but nothing more. I wish this were not the case.
